BattleBots® Camp Junior

 “Robots, activate!” Enter the arena of the ultimate showdown with BattleBots^® and design your own champion. In this introductory robotics course, you’ll build and customize a VEX IQ bot with your teammates. Following design standards set by tech experts at BattleBots^®, brainstorm and workshop a unique robot character, such as a battle shark with an attachable fin! Your bot will tackle a variety of challenges, like driving maneuvers in a Simon Says game. At the end of the week, compete in a BattleBots^®-style robot tournament where the winner takes all!

In this course, you will:

• Build a custom robot with VEX IQ hardware
• Learn how the pros build BattleBots^® champions
• Explore mechanical engineering principles
• Compete in a BattleBots^®-style tournament
