Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which kids celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful silicone Tactixbands, funny movies, and chess clock tourneys! Laughter, fast-clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summer’s highlight for hundreds of students across Atlanta. Chess Camp has a fun and friendly spirit and is a great way to keep the brain sharp during the summer while having a real blast!
This week, we will learn about The Four Knights Game for the Yellow and White Swirly Belt, and The Halloween Gambit for the Orange and White Swirly Belt! The Four Knights Game is solid and defensive, while the Halloween Gambit is explosive and aggressive. This week is sure to be a blast!

AIS Cancellation and Refund Policy
All camp fees include a non-refundable registration fee of $100 per camp.
All cancellations received in writing before May 1, 2026, will be fully refunded minus the $100 non-refundable deposit.
Refunds will not be issued after May 1, 2026
Families will be issued a full refund if AIS cancels a camp and will be informed three weeks before the start of the canceled camp.
