The Knight School Summer Chess Camps are the perfect way to get ready to join your school’s official chess team and chess party in the fall. Chess Camp has a fun and friendly spirit and is a great way to keep the brain sharp during the summer while having a real blast!

Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which kids celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful silicone Tactixbands, funny movies, and chess clock tourneys! Laughter, fast-clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summer’s highlight for the current hundreds of kids who make up the awesome network of The Knight School’s nationwide chess teams.

New this summer, chess camp will have completely brand-new and uniquely themed lessons about a different chess opening strategy EACH WEEK! It’s the perfect way to get a leg up on the students who skipped camp this week!

The Knight School is your official chess team and chess party! Upon enrollment in any one-year class, new students receive our snazzy TKS chess tote, board, pieces, free replacement pieces for life, chess shirt, all the colorful wristbands you can earn, our compelling party-bead tournament system, and our fun Saturday national tourneys! In each of our offerings, The Knight School kids try to earn and collect all 25 colorful tactic-specific TactixBands in order to earn the rare black shirt and be admitted to The Masters. This approach results in kids developing a strong enthusiasm for chess, improved sportsmanship, and newfound academic confidence.Choose one of our programs below.
